Mural commission - Yarra Council
Uncertain Equilibrium is a window-based mural that I designed specifically for display in the windows at the Richmond Library, as part of the Yarra City Council's 2019 art program.
This window site created a wonderful opportunity to explore the interplay between the positive and negative space of the design and the transparency of the windows themselves, allowing the outside world to become part of the mural and merging together the space inside the library with the environment and community beyond.
New painting commission
Across the Mountain was a painting I was commissioned to create after my work was exhibited at Not Fair in 2017.
This painting continues my ongoing preoccupation with geometric pattern, fragmentation and landscape.
New Painting Commission - Darebin Council
I was thrilled to have Darebin Council commission three small-scale paintings in 2017.
Accession, an exhibition of their new acquisitions, was held in March, 2018.
"Accession presents recent acquisitions to the Darebin Art Collection representative of a cross-section of Australian contemporary art practices. Including several new commissions specific to the Darebin municipality, in many instances it will be the first time these significant works have been revealed to the community. The artists presented include Brook Andrew, Megan Cope, Daniel Crooks, DAMP, Patrick Francis, Dale Harding, Matthew Harris, Claire Lambe, Claire McArdle, Claire Mooney, Steaphan Paton, David Ray, Yhonnie Scarce, Shannon Smiley, Fergus Binns and Steven Rhall, David Wadelton, Paul Wood and Alice Wormald."
New painting commission
Interwoven was a commissioned work I completed for a friend in July, loosely based on my 2016 paintings Woven and Interfold.

I have been chosen to participate in the Bundoora Nebula Artist Residency, held at the Bundoora Homestead Art Centre, Melbourne 2017.
My residency will take place from Wednesday 5th - Sunday 30th April, 2017, during which time I will be working from a studio at the Homestead, alongside artist Amani Tia.
